Introduction

Hi everyone! This is the official blog of HQclassical,which is a BBS sharing classical music. HQclassical features rare recordings with various authors including Duke and David Wade as contributors. Join us and enjoy music!

We will post selected representative recordings from HQclassical. If you want more, please join us!

About HQclassical：

1. Principle:
    In HQclassical, everyone“Share & Gain”. Posting is essential to earn virtual currency (We call it "金钱[Money]")，which you can use to pay for the download links. The more you share, the more you can download.
    IMPORTANT: Make sure you have something to share before requesting for membership.

2. New members: 
    Simply contact me, or comment on this post with your brief introduction and what you intend to share. You will receive a register code later if approved.

3. File hosting
    Most of members in HQclassical use "Baidu Yun" as file hosting(Tutorial). For your convenience of downloading and uploading, we strongly recommend you register Baidu Yun. For detailed tutorial, please wait and see later posts.

4. Rules of sharing
    (1) Recordings newly ripped and first appeared on internet should be posted in "原创神器[Original Great Recordings]".
    (2) Recordings previously collected from blogs or other BBS should be posted in "转载搬砖[Mirrors]"
    HQclassical exclusive is encouraged.

5. On Copyright
    All the sharing is for preview only,please support the artists and buy their works. HQclassical will have to remove download links if necessary.

    Basically, even those posts shared on the blog cannot be downloaded unless we have enough coins, right? I don't think I have enough rarities to cope with your requisites. I am an enormous fan of historical recordings. And I would love to join. But your rules compel us to share an interminable amount of recordings in order to download. I still have to figure out if I have enough uploads not shared elsewhere. I have about 10-20 uploads that I can vouch for as shareable with you but it is still not enough. And I don't think that I shall acquire more given my situation. Let's think about it.

    I did manage to download the Blog entries. Let's say I was not inspired when writing the above!!! Sorry, when faced with a myriad of treasures for possible download, my head and brain suffer extreme stress,...... and cease to function properly. My apologies for not realizing how to download the entries here.
    OK.... in better shape today, I may try and prepare for upload some live rarities that may be of interest to HQ. Let me know if I can be included in the list of members.

    Hi Duke. This is about an issue on your original site. I tried to download Bruckner 8 with Jochum/Bamberg SO using the 115pan software, but it required a password, which I could not find at the site.

      Hi David, I am a retiring physician in NewYork with more than 1,000 CDs and 4.5TB classical music & and HD performing arts (finally got rid of open reel, cassette tapes and vinyl). Haven't yet learned how to rip to lossless and upload, but will. Would like to be a member of this site. Thanks.
